Flexi (flexiapp.co.uk) is a platform enabling anyone to discover more than 1,500 fitness classes every week and instantly book any class without a membership.
Flexi was acquired in January 2017.
Designed and developed the iOS and Android apps, website, branding and marketing materials (all apps were launched within three months of conception).
The Flexi iOS app was featured at #1 in the App Store ‘Fitness Classes & Services’ category.
Pitched to angel investors and venture capitalists to raise a seed round of funding.
Developed partnerships with more than 150 fitness studios and independent organisers.
Created digital and print marketing campaigns and continually optimised these using analytics and split testing to reduce acquisition costs (6p CPC and £2 CPA) and increase conversion rates.
Set up a continuous integration and development pipeline, enabling zero-downtime deployments to an auto-scalable containerised architecture.
Integrated two major studio management systems (MindBody and TeamUp) to support studio partnerships, enabling automatic bookings and synchronisation of class schedules.
Analysed signups, behaviours and referrals across all the apps to improve user journeys, interfaces and to prioritise updates, leading to improved marketing spend, engagement and retention (300% increase in average app session times, 30% increase in active users).
